Tech Tip - BrainRush

I stumbled on this gem the other day!  BrainRush is a website with a variety of adaptive games.  The games are customizable to fit your needs.  The game has a "flipcard" feel to it.  The awesome part of this site is that the games are geared toward mastery.  The students really have to know their material to move on.  Try it today!  I was blown away when browsing the website.

Tech Tip - Kahoot

Kahoot
If you are looking for a way to do fun review in your classroom, pull in a set of devices and play Kahoot with your kids.  Kahoot is a great tool for all ages.  It is a game-based way to assess. Teachers can either create their own questions, or select a quiz from the many quizzes already created in the public gallery.  Kahoot requires no student signup, so playing a game in your class takes very little time.  Give it a try during the first couple weeks of school.

Tech Tip

That Quiz
That Quiz is a website that students and teachers can use for quick quizzes, review, practice, etc...  The interface is very easy to use and best of all, it's free.  Teachers can even create classes and assign quizzes and track scores and attempts.  There is a lot of math content, with some science, language arts, and social studies already on the website.  If you have devices in your classroom, That Quiz would be a great bell ringer activity or something for a student to use to fill time.
